Numerical methods for distinguishing between regular and chaotic behavior in Hamiltonian systems.

Diffusion and Lyapunov exponents in Hamiltonian systems.

Phase space transport and invariant manifolds in Hamiltonian systems.

The structure of KAM (Kolmogorov - Arnold - Moser) tori and Arnold diffusion.

Numerical methods for locating periodic orbits - stability and bifurcations of periodic orbits in Hamiltonian systems.

Hamiltonian Hopf bifurcation and complex instability.

Machine learning in Hamiltonian systems.

Differential geometry and topology in chaos theory and Hamiltonian systems.

Celestial Mechanics - perturbation theory - normal forms.

Regarding this activity, I am a member of the International Astronomical Union (IAU), of the Hellenic Astronomical Society and of the Hellenic Mathematical Society. 2. History, philosophy and popularization of science.

Archaeoastronomy and history of mathematical astronomy.

The popularization of mathematics, physics and astronomy through the history, philosophy and research methodology of these scientific fields.

Regarding this activity, I am a member of the British Society for the philosophy of science and member of the commission C2 communicating astronomy with the public, of the commission C3 history of astronomy and of the inter-commission C1-C3-C4 working group for archaeoastronomy and astronomy in culture of the International Astronomical Union (IAU).
